How to Play Ragdoll MMA
Independent guide to the Roblox game by MattValidd · checked 3 Nov 2026.
A first session is a menu choice, not a character creator essay. From the main menu pick Fight Now. The 2 Nov 2026 recording lists eight entries. I repeat them here with the wording on the buttons, then say what the description adds.
Fight a Player challenges someone already in your server. Fight a Bot offers Easy, Medium or Hard. Practice is labeled as an open gym. Spectate Fights watches the bout in that server. 2v2 Team Fights is a party of two with random teammates and matchmaking. 3v3 Team Fights is a party of three, random teammates, and the button says ranked. Wrestling is grappling and submissions with no strikes. Stand and Bang is punches and kicks only, with no grappling.
The description’s bot line is shorter: “fight Easy, Medium or Hard bots, or sharpen your skills in Practice.” Peaceful exists only in the Personal Gym pass text, so a public Fight a Bot queue is three difficulties, not four. If you bought the gym, the extra Peaceful bot is described on the gamepasses page.
After you pick a bot, the same menu video cuts to an exhibition bout card that says get ready. That is the first-fight path I can actually point at. Keys you need before that card are on controls: hold the mouse buttons to punch, hold Q or E to kick, tap G to grab, tap X to dive.
Rounds, HUD, and what is still blank
Scoring is “three one-minute rounds with scored decisions.” Knockouts, bone breaks and a slow-motion X-ray finish are named, but the description never says whether a knockout ends the round or only plays the replay. I leave that blank. The grappling tutorial’s HUD shows bars labeled Bleed, CPM, Stun and Bone. I can say the bars are on screen. I cannot say what number fills them.
The main menu also shows Crates, Store, Leaderboards, Learn and Settings, plus a ranked strip: Unranked, Placements 0/5, Ranked 0-0. Crates and any currency behind them are not explained, so this guide does not invent a reward track. Leaderboard columns are not readable in the frame I used.
Team modes and the wrestling-versus-striking split matter more than a tier list. If you only want ground work, pick Wrestling. If you want the cage strikes without clinch, pick Stand and Bang. Mixing both is the default exhibition. Ground details, once you are holding someone, are on the grappling page rather than repeated here.
